I can't remember how many years I've been using PayPal for my purchases, I'll admit that at first I was dubious but PayPal is now my preferred option for online purchases. I know that my money is safe when using PayPal I hate giving my bank card details over the phone. On a few occasions I've used PayPal pay in three you know from the outset the dates you're payment will be taken from your bank account and can budget accordingly. Paypal pay in 3 is so easy to use, just a couple of click and its all setup ready to go, and I dont have to worry about ensuring I pay my credit card if I want to spread the payments for a purchase. 3 fairly small payments its a no brainer. Reviewed on: 7th July 2026

Easy to use and interest-free when managed properly

I've used PayPal Pay in 3 several times and it's been a really helpful way to spread the cost of larger purchases without paying interest. The application process is quick, repayments are clearly laid out in the app, and payments have always been taken on the dates I expected. I think it's a great option if you're organised and know you'll have the money available for each instalment. It's much more manageable than paying a large amount upfront, especially for unexpected purchases. The only thing I'd say is to make sure you understand the repayment dates before you use it, as missed payments can cause unnecessary stress. Used responsibly, though, I've had a really positive experience and wouldn't hesitate to use it again. Reviewed on: 7th July 2026
