Provided support and assistance when I felt lost

An abusive relationship left me with a lot of debt that I basically hid my head in the sand about as emotionally I was in a terrible place. When I felt strong enough to deal with everything head on, PayPlan really helped. I was worried that I would be judged, but was instead met with empathy and understanding. They helped me work out a budget that was realistic and have helped me clear a significant portion of debt. It has been a huge relief to have their help. Reviewed on: 14th July 2022

Absolutely life saving

I found payplan at a point in my life that was easily the worst stage ever. Having got myself into debt and despite desperately trying and failing to sort my own debt matters out I was just at rock bottom in terms of having any sense of what to do next. However right from my first contact with a debt advisor I started to feel like I could start to come back from the awful situation I had found myself in. The staff at payplan are absolutely amazing and a credit to the company I have found all of them so helpful and reassuring and am now well on my way to getting my life back on track thanks to payplan. Taking the weight off my shoulders

I had been struggling for many years after being made homeless, dealing with an addiction, to get back on my feet mentally and financially. I struggled to hold down a job, but through 6 months volunteering, was offer a 15 hour post as a volunteer coordinator. My stepping stone to where I am today. However during this period I was on benefits and due to admin issues and lack of correct information I ended up with a rather substantial overpayment. Whilst was still working, I bought a car and struggled with ongoing payments and because I did not want to fall in to the trap of borrowing peter to pay paul, I was advised to put it all in an IVA - to give me breathing space whilst continuing to lead my life. Payplan were superb - they listened, they adpted my plan when required in the early stages. Annual reviews are easy and everything can be updated as I go along in my life. So now I have a couple of years left and I could not imagine how difficult and stressful life would be if I had not sought Payplan support. Thank you.
