When I called Money Wellness I was stressed and worried as to what I could do about the debt I had and how was I going to pay them and live. After talking with James I felt relieved and could see a light at the end of the tunnel. He explained everything to me and covered all the options that were available. I had a very positive experience with Money Wellness and would highly recommend their services to anyone struggling with financial difficulties. From the very beginning, the team was professional, understanding, and genuinely supportive. They took the time to listen to my situation without any judgment and explained all available options clearly, which made a stressful situation much easier to manage. What stood out the most was their patience and the way they guided me step-by-step through the process. They made sure I fully understood everything before moving forward, and they were always available to answer any questions I had. Communication was excellent, and I felt reassured throughout the entire process. Thanks to Money Wellness, I now feel more in control of my finances and much less anxious about my situation. In February, the process initially progressed smoothly, and we were able to complete the income and expenditure assessment without issue. However, the matter was not resolved until the middle of April due to repeated delays. These delays arose primarily because two scheduled appointments were cancelled. Despite informing your team on multiple occasions that I am unable to answer phone calls during working hours, I continued to receive calls at times when I was unavailable. Both pre-arranged telephone appointments had been scheduled for after work hours, yet neither took place as agreed, which was extremely frustrating. On one occasion, when I called back, I was informed that applications were not being accepted in my area. This raises the question as to why the appointment was scheduled in the first place. After several attempts to make contact, I eventually spoke with a representative and advised that I would be making a formal complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service, citing a potential breach of consumer duty and the unnecessary stress and inconvenience caused. While the matter has now been resolved, this was only achieved after I escalated the issue. I am concerned that, had I not done so, I may have been subjected to further delays and additional cancelled appointments. Reviewed on: 15th April 2026
