Excellent savings scheme

I love this credit union savings scheme. It’s one of the best ways to save - putting money aside on payday, and you don’t even notice it. The money never leaves your normal bank account, it gets directed straight to your PlaneSaver account on pay day. Often I go about my life and forget about it, only to look back later and realise I have a nice amount of cash saved. It’s a significantly better rate than my savings account too, and I have noticed nice returns on my money. The only improvement I would make is that across a weekend or in the evenings, money isn’t an instant withdrawal. This is because the staff oversee transactions, so you need to plan a couple of days in advance if withdrawing or depositing around a weekend. That being said, it has never caused me issues, this is merely some improvement feedback. It’s nice to know the transactions are checked too, for additional security and verification for any unusual activity. I have found the customer service to be excellent. Reviewed on: 4th June 2020

Helped me massively in a time of need

I found planesaver credit union when I was in a terrible financial state and couldn’t save a penny. With the help of one of there consolidation loans in combination with a savings account that comes straight out of my wages I was able to drastically lower my monthly outgoing with the bonus of being able to save at the same time. Now 3 years down the line i am in a much much better financial situation with a modest amount of savings to go with it! Best savings and loan account that is trustworthy

Not only can you save with planesaver and get better interest usually than elsewhere, but you can get loans at low interest which are paid back through your salary. There is a lottery too! Reviewed on: 4th June 2020

Superb way to Save!!!!

I love to save using plane saver as the money is deducted from my payslip so I don’t notice it missing from my net pay and because it is done automatically it doesn’t give me a chance to ponder whether I should save some money each month I have no choice it’s taken before I can think about it!!!!! Saved for over 5 years with them and even though my job with BA is on the line at the moment ie I may soon find myself without a payslip from them soon Reviewed on: 4th June 2020
