Good products but service a bit old fashioned.

I like the range of products offered by the Mansfield. However to transfer between ISAs I had to post in identification although I'm an existing customer. I didn't wish to post my original passport and getting an authorised copy is expensive and time consuming. It took some searching to locate some suitable identification. I wondered why this was necessary as the money was an internal transfer. It wasn't likely to be a fraudulent transaction. I'm a Lloyd's bank customer and recently opened a new account online and transferred money between accounts very easily with no need for further checks. Reviewed on: 9th May 2023

Good savings option

The account we had was a good interest rate when we opened it and it allowed regular payments with no end date on the account. As with any account you need to keep up to date with savings rates and in the end the rate didn’t keep up with others. We still have other accounts with the Mansfield but forget about doing anything online as they are just not up to it. It took 3 months to open an online saver account.. Reviewed on: 9th May 2023

We constantly review our rates to ensure we remain competitive and react to market conditions and last increased our rates on 1st March, however we are sorry to hear that on this occasion you didn’t feel that we were competitive. We recently received high levels of interest in some of our online savings accounts and as a result this caused some service delays.
