Old fashioned personal service

I'm used to being passed from pillar to post when reaching out to bank customer services, so dealing with Bath was a breath of fresh air. Corinne replied promptly & accurately when I chased up my Junior ISA transfer request. I really appreciate the service & I'll be reluctant to transfer out of Bath now. (Also appreciate the old-school savings passbook :)) Reviewed on: 21st March 2021

Reasonable interest rate on the regular saver but bad customer experience

Reasonable interest rate on the regular saver but 2 issues on opening. 1. Bath put insufficient postage on the opening letter and I had to pay £1.50 to retrieve it from the Post Office - Bath weren't particularly interested when I informed them. 2. I received the documents from the PO (+ duplicates from Bath) but the suppled user ID and 8 character activation code would not work as the request to text the 6 digit code resulted in a misaligned screen (PC) or technical error message (Ipad). I rang Bath to discuss this but the operator was unable to fix it and passed it on to a more technical person who eventually fixed it but was rude and disrespectful and seemed intent on blaming me or my computer for the problem.'
