Quick & efficient

We use BIBS because the account for our Property Management Company is ‘free’ and we get a small amount of interest. We are glad you are not, after all, charging for cheque withdrawls / deposits. For small sums, eg the annual £13 Companies House confirmation statement, which I, as treasurer, have to pay by credit card … I have to withdraw cash from your branch to repay that because on-line transactions must be greater than £50. Paying in our bi-annual Service Charges is also fraught …with your 00000000 account number. This now seems to work for the other flat owners, & it has worked for me; but now HSBC doesn’t like it and I am forced to come onto the branch with a cheque! Reviewed on: 13th March 2023

Reply from Bath Building Society Thank you for your feedback, thats unfortunate about HSBC, I am glad its working well for your flat owners, and as we are a savings account not a bank account some of our processes are more manual so we have had to add in a minimum withdraw limit for online transactions. Very helpful, good interest rate and have the option to have a passbook. Online and branch.

This is the first time I have looked into Bath Building society website. I do not live local, so not sure how to get passbook updated. But would request annual statements by post. Reviewed on: 10th March 2023
