18 Days Later and Still Waiting for Account Verification Code!!

I wanted to open a new savings account online 18 days ago, assuming an online account would be very quick to set up. Firstly there were problems trying to set the account up as there was a 'glitch' on the system apparently. Secondly it took 14 days before being able to pay money into the account, even though promised on 3 separate occasions that it would 'be sorted by close of business tomorrow'!! It's now 18 days later and the account is still not finalised as still waiting to receive the required verification code and Welcome Letter, meaning that I cannot withdraw any of the money deposited!! Slow to answer messages

Very pleased with account I applied for. But very slow to get set up online with nominated account for payments/deposits. Messages not answered promptly, had to message a second time when no reply within a week. Took 3 weeks in all to get the account fully up & running. Reviewed on: 17th February 2023
