1st Class Service

We re-mortgaged with Newbury as they offered the best rate available across the whole mortgage market. Even though we arranged the mortgage through a mortgage adviser Hannah at the Newbury still communicated through me and the service was exceptional. We were paying an extortionate amount of daily interest with our existing lender so we were keen to get the deal through asap and with Hannah's help we managed to bring the completion date forward over a week. Winchester Branch visit

I visited the Winchester Branch to draw some cash . Subhashini Venkatesan was excellent, professional, friendly , very helpful. She advised me on the latest interest rates and switching my original accounts to a higher interest paying accounts. In addition opening a new account. Subhashini Venkatesan did all the necessary applications/ forms there and then , very efficiently. I've visited the Winchester Branch on several occasions and each visit has been a real pleasure. The staff are friendly, helpful, efficient. I have already recommended members of my family to open accounts, some have opened accounts at different branches and have all been very pleased with the services provided. Re Mortgage to Newbury

Due to the position it was a s straight forward as a normal re mortgage, however the team at The Newbury were extremely helpful and kept us up to date every stop of the process. The communication wasn't the typical corporate responses, but very personal which I think made all the difference and hope that never changes. Reviewed on: 28th July 2023

Very Helpful...

I visited my local Newbury Building Society earlier this week in order to open a new savings account as an existing member. I was welcomed by Justine Ransom, Branch Manager, at my 10.30am appointment. Justine carefully and concisely outlined and explained the variation of options of accounts best suited to me in my present situation, and patiently listened and responded to any questions and queries I needed to ask. I left feeling I had received very good service as a customer and that there remains a variety of ways in which I can contact the building society in future if necessary. I will state that I am impressed by the Society and the way in which I, as a customer, have been treated when I come into the offices. The Newbury is possibly the last Mutual and I hope it remains this way because the customer really does matter. Reviewed on: 27th July 2023
