Great savings for investors with a long term view

I first discovered prosper via Crowdcube where they were raising funds. I invested in Prosper and then opened a stocks and shares ISA account. As a customer, the low platform fees are very attractive for investors with a long term view. Reviewed on: 20th March 2025

My doubts were blown away

I wasn't sure about joining Prosper at first – they're relatively new and promise big things, so my inner cynic doubted it as too good to be true. I'm really pleased to say that my cynicism was unfounded. The app is intuitive and simple to navigate. The fees really are that low. Above all else, though, the customer service has been exemplary. I initiated two transfers from Vanguard, both of which came through incomplete. This was a routine issue with the processing of transfers, but scary at first when four-figures of savings had seemingly disappeared. I received a personal, out of hours message from a senior member of the team who reassured me. I had a follow-up very early the next working day and the problem was resolved promptly, clearly, and reassuringly. A genuine 10/10 experience, which is so rare with any kind of investment platform. I opened a SIPP with them and they kept me informed all the way on the transfer in from other pension providers. They managed to transfer in from Aviva within 2 working days. Super fast and they also do not charge any fees. Brilliant! Reviewed on: 20th March 2025

Very satisfied

Everything that I have done with Prosper has been smooth. When I did have questions about sending money to my new savings account they were answered promptly and very much to my satisfaction.
