Overseas traveler

I live overseas and travel quite a bit, Revolut allows me to keep a close eye on what is going on with my savings and how much it is growing! I like being able to move money quickly and easily around my different accounts and between banks in the UK with very small charges. I did notice though that the exchange rate shown was slightly higher than what I received. However, in the grand scheme it wasn’t much but better transparency would be nice. Revolution is a very handy and easy to use bank.

Revolution is a very handy and easy to use bank. I love the fact that I can open accounts in almost any currency in the world and that an exchange rate is usually at the market level. I think Revolut would benefit from monthly cash back categories though, as some banks in other countries use. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2026
