Online account access good and does what it needs to - all being very basic though. Nothing visually to talk about. Just make your payments and don't crash and I suppose every insurer is the same. car insurance increased by 72% from last year which included a £20 policy set up fee.........outrageous. I found cheaper insurance in 3 minutes and have moved and never going back.

I recommend RIAS as a car insurance for its quick, to-the-point and clear terms.

Pleasantly surprised by the increase in premium since other insurers have hiked their prices so much. Unfortunately had a claim last year, which was dealt with efficiently.

Renewal comes and I say I don’t want to renew as their price is 3x what others would charge. Contacted them over the phone after waiting for what seemed forever. Man on the phone was very unhelpful. I was within the cooling off period before the renewal was to begin and they wanted to charge £30 for the 8 days I was insured when my new company would charge £50 for the whole month! We have had our buildings and contents insurance with Rias for 5 years. We moved out of our property at the end of October into... We have had our buildings and contents insurance with Rias for 5 years. We moved out of our property at the end of October into a relatives house so didn't need to take the insurance with us. They charged us a £60 exit fee even though our Direct Debit for November was taken in the sum of £20, which would cover us for a month we aren't even living at the property.
