Appalling service incompetent staff Worst insurance company I’ve dealt with had to cancel policy before it even began

My car was hit - I wasn't in it but the other driver left name and address. No fault?? When the other driver's insurance didn't... When the other driver's insurance didn't pay up fast enough RIAS turned it into my fault and increased the premium. The e-mail they say they sent disappeared so they cancelled my policy and I knew nothing about it. The company theat "Goes the extra mile" couldnt care less about it's customers. Despite not needing to claim I can't fault the service. My renewal was for the first time in my life cheaper than the market leading comparison sites so remained with them. Online account access good and does what it needs to - all being very basic though. Nothing visually to talk about. Just make your payments and don't crash and I suppose every insurer is the same. car insurance increased by 72% from last year which included a £20 policy set up fee.........outrageous. I found cheaper insurance in 3 minutes and have moved and never going back.

I recommend RIAS as a car insurance for its quick, to-the-point and clear terms.

Pleasantly surprised by the increase in premium since other insurers have hiked their prices so much. Unfortunately had a claim last year, which was dealt with efficiently.
