A mortgage provider that has a friendly, human touch!

As first time buyers, we found Scottish Building Society made the whole process of getting our mortgage simple, efficient and friendly. They definitely have the human touch over other mortgage providers and our broker, who has vast experience in the industry, assured us we'd be in good hands with Scottish. All completed in time. Underwriting experience pretty straightforward. Some delays in this process was only negative in whole experience, but our independent mortgage adviser kept on top of things and us informed throughout, so no complaints. Reviewed on: 9th April 2025

I just like them and I felt the need to say it.

I just like them and I felt the need to say it. I like how I'm not trying to tell a robot what I am calling about. I like the wait times when I call usually less than 30 seconds. I like how simple it is to renew my mortgage on to a new deal when my current one expires. Some of the advisors speak Scottish so there can be a bit of a language barrier but other than that friendly, quick and just really good. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2025
