All excellent apart from the e sign process is not e...

All excellent apart from the e sign process is not easy on a phone you have to remember passcode then is fiddly you have to keep clicking from one page to another and there are pop up that was not sure if i had to click on and i got to the sign page with trual and error i think its because i can see the whole page on my phone and have to scroll up diwn n sideways to see it all Reviewed on: 23rd December 2025

Unprofessional and Discriminated Service

I was refused a loan by Sheffield Credit Union despite being in permanent full-time employment for 5 years, and being on the electoral register at my home for 10 years. With no CCJs, Defaults, and a good credit history in the last 6 years with a high credit score. When I challenged staff about being declined, they came up with a lame excuse. Personally, I feel that I was prejudiced against because I am a single white male. All the staff I have dealt with have been unprofessional. The Lending and Credit Control Manager failed to deal with my complaint adequately. He further failed to hold a member of staff accountable for her rudeness and lying, when investigating my complaint, because she runs the Credit Union. A Senior Credit Union Officer has failed to honour my Subject Access Request and has no proper understanding of the ICO guidance she threw at me. Basically, this place needs to be thoroughly investigated, as these people are on high salaries with fancy titles, not doing the job that they are being paid to do. I believe that it should be closed down. I will be reporting Sheffield Credit Union to the Financial Ombudsman Service once I receive my SARs request back. And the ICO have advised be to report them for not following their guidance and being "excessive" in their dealings with me. Reviewed on: 18th December 2025
