affordable emergency loans

I've had 2 loans from SCU, 1 for a new fridge and the other to replace a stolen mobile phone. Being on ESA I would have been entitled to the budgeting loan from DWP but you have to pay back about £30 per giro, with SCU I'm only paying £13 which makes it much more affordable. Interest

The way they add interest in loans is strange they take 50% of every loan repayment which means the loan is taking longer to pay off and the loan repayments don’t come Down. Reviewed on: 1st September 2021

Sheffield Credit Union

Sheffield Credit Union do some great work locally. They have a really great SCUBA account for people who find it difficult to manage their money, to make sure their bills are paid (it is sort of a jam jar account). I have recommended the account to quite a few people who i though would benefit over the years. They have always engaged at various events and shows in order to try and get the message out to as many people as possible. Reviewed on: 1st September 2021

Outstanding service

Sheffield credit union provides very reasonable loan offers. I had a period of bad credit in the past, it was only Sheffield credit union that offered me hope even though I didn’t end up taking out the loan because my other half threw me a lifeline. Reviewed on: 1st September 2021
