The ultimate proof of an insurance company would be the claims handling.. thankfully I've not needed that so all I can judge on is the cover offered and the ease of getting specialist cover. I'm in the habit of longer biketouring/bikepacking adventures overseas and as I got older (50+) found it almost impossible to get cover for bike touring anywhere else for journeys of more than a couple of weeks. I appreciate that Sportscover understand that those who engage in such activities are generally fitter/healthier than average and know what they're doing (hopefully), and can offer such cover. You never know what can happen

I always have golf insurance, as you never know what could happen. As it turns out this was proved true when my car was broken into and all my equipment stolen from the golf club I was visiting. I have to say, the process and speed in which the claim was processed was excellent - I was as honest as possible with my claim and form was easy to complete. Just knowing the process is quick and easy gives you peace of mind should anything ever happen again. Reviewed on: 17th July 2024
