One of the best services I’ve ever know

Best choice I made

In a year of being on a DMP with step change I’m in a much better position and feel like I’m finally in control of my debts. Would highly recommend to anyone who is struggling, the customer service has been beyond anything I expected everyone I have spoken to has been understanding and supportive and have helped take away the feeling of being ashamed. I was in a bad place.

I was in a bad place. I had made the mistake of borrowing money in order to clear debts and using credit cards to live. The more I paid off one set of debts the more another new set grew. Stepchange were understanding, nonjudgmental and made a world of difference. They made me realise I was not the only one in similar situations and came up with an action plan that allows me to pay off my debts and live as well. Instant relief

By the time anybody gets to the stage of admitting defeat with their financial situation, they are worn out and at the end of the rope, worried that they will be made to feel stupid. Stepchange does not make anybody feel that way, they never say ‘ why did you buy that?’ It was such a relief to speak with somebody that did not judge your choices they just helped you get out of the whole that you had dug for yourself.
