Great, helpfully service

Really helpfull and knowledgeable people. The advisor gave me advise and guided me through the whole process to set up my debt management plan. Now, I don't wake up during the night worrying because I know my financial situation getting and my debt is reducing. Reviewed on: 7th June 2025

An invaluable and supportive service.

Very helpful and friendly

13 years ago I found myself in an unfortunate situation of redundancy 18 months ago having a baby. I was having sleepless nights and didn't know which way to turn. I'd heard about your organisation through the company I worked with at the time and finally plucked up the courage to make that dreadful phone call. I was embarrassed to be in that situation although it was through my fault of mine. The advisor asked some questions and send me a form to complete. She reassured me that everything will be OK and although the debts was huge to me, it was nothing in comparison to other debtors. Clear/ Correct information

I contacted Stepchange as I felt I was left with no other option too many things to juggle and no clear way out of it, they were thorough and really understanding, they explained clearly what was going to happen. I had to contact them a few months later when my bank removed my overdraft and left me with nothing again they got this matter resolved and told me what I needed to say to the bank. I’m a single parent who works full time and they’ve really helped me with dealing with the bank when they’ve been far from helpful. Reviewed on: 8th July 2020
