They pull mortgages on completion for no reason!

Common practice for Together money is to offer a mortgage and then ask a lot of questions on completion and pull the mortgage at the last minute causing the whole chain to collapse. Unprofessional in every way. Forces customers to use the VAS panel for valuations and charges more than double the price of other valuations. Pulling out at last minute because they have changed their mind, not for any specific reasons at all and then refusing to refund any costs. Their decision making process is so slow they wait until completion before pulling out! They also will not put anything in writing, it’s always different excuses on phone calls but nothing in writing. They pretend to reply to complaints but they don’t actually look into them properly at all! They don’t provide any documents to back up anything they say because they are so underhanded. Do not use this company. You will end up losing any property you want to buy as they have repeatedly done this to other customers. Wish I hadn’t used a broker who went to them. You think brokers would know about these companies but they often don’t! Read all the online reviews. The positive reviews sound generic, are they real reviews? I will leave that for you to decide. The bad reviews are shocking and definitely true! I hope the financial ombudsman will look into this closer. Reviewed on: 6th December 2024

TOGETHER FINANCE LTD IS A FRAUDULENT LENDER

TOGETHER FINANCE HAVE LOST ME MY FAMILY MY HOME £8 MILLION OF PROPERTY USED AS SECURITY AND ELEVEN LTD COYS WORTH £1.5 AFTER WITHDRAWAING MY LOAN AT THE START OF COVID & HOLDING BACK MY MEZZANINE FINANCE - THE EXTENSION FEES WENT TO 17% APR AND THE SECURITY AGAINST MY HOME WAS PULLED IMMEDIATELY. THE ONLINE AUCTION RESERVE WAS ACTUALLY SET TO LOSE £850,000 AND THE LAWYERS DUFF & PHELPS MADE A FURTHER £50,000 IN FEES. THE SFO FOS FCA & BBRS ARE AWARE & HATCHARD IS NOW IN PARLIAMENT TO GET JUSTICE. WE RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE STAY CLEAR OF THIS FRAUDULENT LENDER. Terrible company,! The most horrible experience!!

The most horrible experience was given a bridge loan where the representative from the company falsely told us the rate will not be changing much at all and after a few months the monthly payment was almost double making it impossible to sustain so we had to pay it back where they charged us £15,800 early redemption fee even though we had the exact date and time the representative gave us the false information, the recording was pulled out, and even after that the management refused to give us early repayment back. We want to report to financial boards, but apparently because it was not a residential loan, they have no governing body which makes them be able to get away with ripping people off. This is one of the most terrible companies and we took the complaint to the highest people in the company and they didn’t give us the early repayment feedback. we also had to pay almost £20,000 for the loan set up which was 2% fee and valuation fees one percent arrangement fee and many other charges so altogether we ended up losing over £36,000 for this loan which was misrepresented and lied to buy this company we wish we had more information as we have now realised there is many people like us who have been taken advantage of by this horrible company. Be aware of the most terrible company, horrible people

They misrepresented the product. The monthly payment was almost double after a few months and they also added £15,000 early repayment because the loan was not affordable anymore and had to be paid back instead of being helpful. Utterly Terrible

Terrible terrible service. If they spent their marketing (and lying) budget on providing good service, being honest and delivering they'd actually be OK. Alas, their staff are terrible, they take weeks and weeks to finally realise they need 1 little detail then take weeks to review it. It's shocking, many Brokers avoid them like the Plague and they have a terrible reputation. I wouldn't even call them a last resort. Reviewed on: 25th April 2019
