I have learned so much 15 months

I started investing just over a year ago. I came across Trading 212 when they were recommended by Martin Lewis as a cash Isa. I got curious about the Stocks and Shares Isa and started researching how to invest. I found the app really easy to use and see what is happening. The news feed and communities social area gives me pause for thought and I do more research. I really feel as though I am learning how to build my wealth in a low cost way. I have even opened a SIPP elsewhere which seemed a no brainer for my circumstances. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2026

Trading 212 has become one of my go-to investing apps because it makes long-term investing feel simple without dumbing it down. The interface is clean, quick to navigate, and it’s easy to track performance at a glance—whether you’re investing in individual shares or building a diversified portfolio with ETFs. One of the biggest benefits is how beginner-friendly it is. Setting up an account, depositing funds, and placing trades is straightforward, and the app explains key actions clearly. I also like the flexibility: you can invest small amounts, build positions gradually, and keep everything organised in one place. For someone investing regularly, it’s genuinely convenient. That said, there are a couple of drawbacks. Like any investment platform, market prices move quickly, so you can’t always expect the exact price you see at the moment you tap buy/sell, especially during volatile periods. Also, while the app is great for executing and tracking investments, some users might want deeper research tools or more advanced analytics built in. Overall, Trading 212 is a solid choice if you want a smooth, easy-to-use platform for investing and building a portfolio over time. It feels modern, reliable, and practical for everyday investors.
