I have used this company a couple of times and they are very competitive compared to other companies, the price was right for us especially after my wife had a heart attack earlier in the year so I thought it would be pricey,I priced a single trip and an annual policy and decided to go with the annual policy which I was happy with, thank you to 4medical Reviewed on: 9th October 2023

Great peace of mind and they really came through when needed

Having had travel insurance many times and not needed it my response to feedback used to be about ease of purchase and range offered. However now I have experienced needing to call on insurance for surgery and a hospital stay abroad, I have much more to make an assessment on. Travel4Medical were very good overall. There were a couple of issues initially but with some firm discussion these were resolved and the company were great at meeting the hospital costs, arranging the journey home and reimbursing additional expenditure. The call centre staff were accessible and helpful and the claims team were quick and efficient settling the claim. Overall I was impressed. Reviewed on: 9th October 2023

I was so happy to have found 4 Medical. Even with my pre-existing medical conditions my coverage was superb and didn’t cost the earth. It is now the only travel insurance I will be using and I will continue to tell others about how good this company is! Reviewed on: 9th October 2023

Would definitely recommend Travel Insurance 4 Medical, they were the cheapest option for me and purchasing it was a very simple process. I did end up making a claim and received an answer promptly with a clear explanation for their choice. Reviewed on: 9th October 2023

Awful Insurance Company

Impossible to get hold of. Usually on hold on the phone for 30 mins+. Left repeated messages with someone each time who said the correct person would call me back and didn’t. When I eventually got a call back, they tried once with no information in the voicemail and no way to call back. I had backpackers insurance and one of my claims was a cancelled flight, where I had to pay £500 more for a new one as there wasn’t one with that airline for days and I needed to continue my trip in Australia. They wouldn’t cover this - they would only cover going home. Obviously if I’m backpacking, I’m not going to just go home a week into a 3 month trip! The insurance should have covered my last minute more expensive flight for reasons beyond my control. Reviewed on: 9th October 2023
