Slowly redeeming themselves

Was very good in the early days. Had a wobble since reissue and new app. I wasn't able to load cash onto it for months! Recently has managed to sort itself out and works better but exchange rates are not particularly competitive with other similar cards Reviewed on: 9th December 2022

BEWARE, have been trying to contact WE SWAP for months, They don't reply and have direct way to call them other than leaving voice messages. They are sat on my money and I have no way of getting it! Avoid these people

I agree with the previous reviewer. WeSwap used to be good till they changed the app and misplaced 600 euro of my money and it took a month to get it back. Having lost faith I am having trouble getting my card and personal data deleted. Suggest you use a different company Reviewed on: 24th October 2021

Stay clear, if you value your money

It was a good one back in days but since they decided to introduce this new WeSwap 2.0 app it all gone down hill. What a load of rubbish. I have finally managed to get new app working (initially it said documents issued by UK government are not recognised!!!) however no balance was transferred. I have sent an email requesting for a refund on 06.Sep.2021 and so far no response or no balance. Since then I have sent numerous emails and tried to communicate but all I get is silence. I am not sure if I am asking something unreasonable? I am asking to receive my balance before the change. Just for clarification, my own money. What a joke. I will raise the issue with the authorities so they respond to them. Very poor service. Just stay clear. Reviewed on: 18th October 2021

Used to be good. Now.......?

WeSwap used to be very good. You could talk to people and they helped and sorted things out. (We had problems buying petrol in France). Now I cant see any advantage in it. I might as well use a Halifax Credit Card with much less risk. Reviewed on: 6th October 2021

Worst company ever

I have have been a WeSwap customer for a number of years and currently have a considerable dollar balance sitting in my account which I can’t access. I have not received a new card, cant order one in the App, the App shows a Zero balance and I am unable to get any response from my many complaints. Customer service is awful. Currently they have my money and I can't access this - pretty appalling all round. Reviewed on: 18th September 2021

Avoid

Won't release funds. Over £200 on card I cannot access. No customer service. Reviewed on: 15th September 2021

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

WeSwap have lost more than 900 euro of my money and in spite of agreeing it is due do not return it There are many many people in my position - read all reviews and be warned Reviewed on: 15th September 2021
