No hassle to use

I picked this company for our holiday insurance via a comparison website. There was no hassle. Luckily we didn’t need to use them but the information they sent through was clear and the price was very reasonable. Reviewed on: 20th August 2019

Extremely helpful at time of need

Last year we had to cancel some trips due to my wife's sudden illness. World First's customer service were so helpful sorting everything out and our claims were paid without any fuss. Just what you need in such circumstances. Reviewed on: 18th August 2019

Good but untried

This was the first time that I had obtained my Travel Insurance with World First and the process was quick and efficient but as yet having not experienced the need to make a claim I cannot comment on the effectiveness and quality of the claims process Reviewed on: 16th August 2019

A great result for a difficult situation

In 2018 I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. After 9 months of surgery and chemotherapy, I am now in remission and trying to get on with my life. When I started investigate travel insurance for an upcoming holiday, I was horrified, My existing insurance, through my bank, refused to insure me and when I started to get quotes from elsewhere the premiums being quoted were prohibitive. That was until I discovered World First. Their quote was a fraction of the others so much so that I called them to find out what the catch was! They explained that they believed that their medical questionnaire was more thorough than others (true) and that they understood the risks of my condition. As a result they felt that their price was fair. I am now the holder of a World First multi trip policy and am looking forward to some great holidays in the coming year. Well done to World First for not making an already difficult situation even more difficult. Reviewed on: 15th August 2019

Good for pre-existing condition cover

My wife and I both have a number of pre-existing conditions. Despite this we were able to obtain annual cover last year. Unfortunately, as I am now over 75, this was not possible this year. However, cover for our 62 day trip to New Zealand was available from World First at the cheapest price I could find. Also, I found that many companies would not provide cover for long stay trips, we were very pleased to find that World First would provide cover. I cannot comment on how they respond to claims, but would recommend World First for providing cover for non-standard conditions. Reviewed on: 14th August 2019
