OUTSTANDING SERVICES FROM 1ST STOP Reviewed on: 6th April 2019

The worst company I have EVER dealt with

Having used 1st Stop Car Finance in order to purchase a car, I can hand on heart say I have never dealt with a business so error prone and quite simply embarrassing on a customer relation level. I have endured 12 months of frustration and adverse credit scores due to errors caused by this company. My account has been in 'arrears' since day 1, even though I have never missed a payment. I have paid huge lump sums on numerous occasions and somehow the incompetent organisation still didn't realise their mistake let alone inform me I was in 'arrears!' Not once have I received a letter, email or even a phone call. 12 months of unfair 'arrears,' causing my credit rating serious issues, and their first course of action was to offer me 30 pounds of highstreet vouchers! Which they never sent. Having complained they told me an investigation was on going and within 8 weeks it will be resolved. Which it wasn't. Still haven't heard a whisper. Absolute joke of a company, do not use! They will make your life hell and not show an ounce of remorse. Reviewed on: 13th August 2018

For extremely desperate people

These are specialist lender for people with very poor credit file. The loans are very expensive with High APR about 37% i.e on a 10k loan you may pay 7k interest. Once a loan is granted and during the process, they will get all the information about you and your work (including contacting HR office where you work and/or line manager). They will call you and text you just before bank holidays asking you to alter your direct debit etc. These are very pushy people for personal information and will talk to you very disrespectfully each time you contact them. In true sense they will keep you nervous during and after you have taken a loan, this is all part of their strategy (approach and ability to grant loan to people with extremely poor credit profile). Not what I expected

The staff veey friendly, but the only problem was that I've been told by phone that they got the car I want and I can drive it away the same day. Liars! That car they haven't got it and I coose another one that I had it home after about 2 weeks. But everything else was fine. Ohh and one more thing. I had lots of problems with it after 2 months. Mechanical problems. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone to be honest Reviewed on: 16th June 2017
