Transplant not a barrier to travel!

Inevitably, a liver transplant means that holiday insurance is going to be considerably more expensive. The hospital where I had the transplant helpfully provides a list of insurance companies and having considered many of the names and sought information about them, Able2Travel demonstrated a clear customer focus and an understanding of the particular circumstances of each individual’s situation. It was also possible for all members of my family to be on the same policy which meant had there been any difficulty, Able2Travel would be a “one stop shop“ to make sure that in the event of any difficulty the necessary challenges could be met sensibly. Fortunately, on the occasions when I have taken out Insurance with Able2Travel, I have not needed to claim. But in truth, it is the reassurance that I am covered efficiently and effectively which makes the travelling much easier. Reviewed on: 22nd July 2026

Not straight up.

Had to phone as website playing up.Explained website not working properly, however quoted a higher price plus a administrative fee! Not happy, eventually took admin fee off but not the extra!. Best they don’t send a renewal with a certain price because they still want you to go through the medical questions again , even if no change! I actually had a changeby taking something off but still ended up paying more. I’m 50/50 whether I will use them again. Reviewed on: 22nd July 2026

Great service and excellent value.

Able travel have become my regular "go to" travel insurance provider. Over the past few years, they have provided me with prompt reliable responses to queries, along with , good cover at reasonable prices.
