Good value for basic cover Generally easy although the customer service can occasionally be a little slow. Didn't quibble over a claim and paid out quickly. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026

When you have a poorly dog, the last thing you want is to go through is a painful insurance process. With Agria they come back to you in a quick manner, keep you updated with regular communication and make the whole service hassle-free at a time when your focus needs to be on your pet. Agria are forever sending me stuff which was annoying to begin with but now I look forward to reading all their upto date information. My customer service experience has been excellent, it is very easy to get hold of one of their representatives on the phone and they have always been very helpful. I docked one star because my older cat was automatically put into a price bracket that would not accept a sign-up discount promised from the rescue agency, so there is some arbitrary pricing based on your pet's age - this is not unusual for insurance companies. Pet insurance is one of those products you hope you never need to use, however, every time I've needed to (I have 4 large dogs insured with Agria) it has been a seamless experience, whether for claims submitted directly from my vet or phoning with queries.
