Bamboo Loans: Excellent, Efficient & Easy Loan Provider

Me and my partner had our wedding booked from last year however, after saving up we were hit with the news of expecting a baby (which comes with its additional costs). As a result we were in need of some extra cash to help pay off some things for the wedding and after a few searches and a referral I came across Bamboo Loans. The application process was really QUICK, no time wasting with a user friendly website. Within JUST a FEW MINUTES I received an approval email and CONFIRMATION asking me to log in to sign the agreement. The agreement was clearly written with the APR rate and repayment schedule etc. and was able to sign this all electronically! (No stress of having to print, sign and rescan back in... phew!) Once completed I then received a email confirming PAYOUT by 1pm the next day! It was such a stress free process and since making monthly payments I have received reminders by text and email and have also spoken with the bamboo team directly on the phone who are also very helpful offering ongoing support. I didn’t have the greatest credit when I applied but good income and history of making repayments however, they also offer a guarantor loan service for bad credit. Even better... I managed to get a NON GUARANTOR loan which was even better for me! I would certainly recommend BAMBOO Loans :) Reviewed on: 16th June 2020

Poor reaction to my disability

I was extremely disappointed when I didn't get a top-up loan, since I had never missed a payment on my current loan. The lady's attitude changed when I said that I couldn't take photos of my bank statement due to my disability. They already had the PDFs, so I didn't get the loan because of my disability. Interestingly, I got a loan from another company within 3 minutes! With this in mind, due to my experience, I won't be using Bamboo again, due to their attitude re my disability and the photo. Were there for me in a difficult time

I unfortunately slipped on some ice last year and broke my elbow, which meant i couldn't work for two months. Bamboo came to my rescue. My loan was approved and processed very quickly. I was very pleased with the whole process as it allowed me to relax knowing my financial situation was looked after whilst I recovered. Reviewed on: 26th February 2026

Poor service.
