i was struggling to get finance on my car & blue motor accepted me and each time i have contracted them they have been very helpful and understanding.

I’m a disabled customer with long-term mental and physical health conditions. I financed a car through Blue Motor Finance and paid them thousands of pounds... I’m a disabled customer with long-term mental and physical health conditions. I financed a car through Blue Motor Finance and paid them thousands of pounds before the vehicle was repossessed and sold at auction — meaning they already made significant money from my account. There’s a small balance of around £500 left, which I simply cannot afford to pay. I sent them full medical evidence including a Debt and Mental Health Evidence Form (DMHEF) and letters from my GP confirming that I will not be able to return to full-time work. Despite this, Blue refused to offer any support or write-off, dismissed my situation entirely, and closed my complaint with no empathy or meaningful response. Their attitude came across as cold and dismissive, and dealing with them has genuinely worsened my mental health. I also took the matter to the Financial Ombudsman, who didn’t rule in my favour — but this doesn’t change how damaging Blue’s behaviour has been. If you ever find yourself unwell or in financial difficulty, this is not a company that will treat you with understanding or fairness.
