Having part exchanged a great car and added finance from Blue Car finance., I believed my consumer rights would be upheld. The car suffered a major engine failure before six months of ownership . I was also still waiting for the service history that was advertised with the car . According to the consumer act 2015 I am entitled to repair, refund or reject the vehicle . The finance company informed me they would contact the dealer to arrange a repair , surprise surprise the dealer wasn't interested as the repair was £5,000 ! The five star warranty he sold me wouldn't cover the repairs . The component that failed is meant to last the lifetime of the car , Audi told me the fault would of been there before I purchased the vehicle , I sent evidence of this to blue motor finance along with original advert where service history is mentioned and I've never received it , also the milage was wrong , the dealer advertised the vehicle with 5000 less miles ! As I had mis-sold the vehicle as well as it having a major fault , I decided to reject the vehicle under my rights of consumer rights and protection from unfair trading 2008 . Blue finance completely side with the dealer , he has told them he gave it to me ! And they believe him . I managed to get a copy of service history from Audi and it only has first 3 years , why would I pay Audi for this service if I already had it in my possession ! Blue motor finance do not keep you informed during their "investigation" , they NEVER call you back and if you manage to get through to your person dealing with your complaint they are away from their desk , at lunch or on the toilet ! Yes , that was said to me . When they wrote to me saying they are looking into my complaint they state their procedures were enclosed , they wasn't . The person dealing with my complaint Bethan , had no knowledge of consumer rights and didn't even know the finance company owns the vehicle , kept insisting the dealer owned it . Sounded very inexperienced and out if her depth . I have now sought legal advice and currently setting out my case through the court system . The law is on my side and I cannot stand injustice so I will be taking this all the way . I implore anybody who is thinking of using this company to look elsewhere , I wouldn't want anybody to experience what we have gone through with this bunch of clowns . If one person listens to this advice then my review would of been worth it . This is the first time I've ever written a review , not bad for a forty something lady ! They are sharks and very unprofessional . You have been warned !
