Worst car finance company ever!

Worst car finance company ever!!! Avoid like the plague. They have totally ignored my right to withdraw within the 14-day cooling off period and keep sending me correspondence requesting repayment even though I never took delivery of the vehicle due to an issue with the dealership company. Total waste of time and space. On to the Ombudsman!!! Reviewed on: 24th July 2025

I’m a disabled customer with long-term mental and physical health conditions. I financed a car through Blue Motor Finance and paid them thousands of pounds before the vehicle was repossessed and sold at auction — meaning they already made significant money from my account. There’s a small balance of around £500 left, which I simply cannot afford to pay. I sent them full medical evidence including a Debt and Mental Health Evidence Form (DMHEF) and letters from my GP confirming that I will not be able to return to full-time work. Despite this, Blue refused to offer any support or write-off, dismissed my situation entirely, and closed my complaint with no empathy or meaningful response. Their attitude came across as cold and dismissive, and dealing with them has genuinely worsened my mental health. I also took the matter to the Financial Ombudsman, who didn’t rule in my favour — but this doesn’t change how damaging Blue’s behaviour has been. If you ever find yourself unwell or in financial difficulty, this is not a company that will treat you with understanding or fairness. Vulnerable customers should be extremely cautious before using them. Reviewed on: 4th July 2025

I have received no help with signing the e-documents.

I have received no help with signing the e-documents. I attempted to get verified this way 16 times. Each time, a £1 ghonst transaction is made from your bank account. Endless emails, phonecalls, text messages and even changing bank did not solve the problem. Whenever I responded to the email by asking for help, none was forthcoming. Reviewed on: 6th March 2025

Not taking payments on time or at all.

Not taking payments on time or at all. Several complaints but never doing what was agreed. Causing severe stress and inconvenience. Explained that by not taking payments could impact my credit score and damage my business. Third time no payments were taken and has now damaged my credit score that was perfect with no missed payments for many years. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2025
