Excellent, personal, service!

In an era of robot call centres and "big" banks, having a local providers with "real" people at the end of the telephone is a refreshing change. Also knowing that your savings are used for ethical lending which keeps people in your own community away from pay day loan companies and door step loan sharks is a big plus! Boost with Boom!

Have been saving with Boom for several years now. It’s so easy as I do payroll deductions so I don’t even notice it’s gone! Website is so easy to use to check how my savings are growing, and if I need to make a withdrawal, I put in a request via the website in the morning (working days) and the money is in my bank account by the end of the day! On the odd occasion when I’ve had to speak to a member of staff, they are so friendly and helpful. I would recommend Boom to anyone looking for a safe, easy to use savings plan. Doing more with your money

I have been a regular saver with Boom for a number of years through a SAYE scheme. What attracted me to this option, as opposed to using any other high street institution, is the clear aim of helping other people in my own community. With the growing obsession with Credit Rating, so many people through personal circumstances are prevented from accessing credit and may be forced or encouraged to access more expensive or less scrupulous forms of credit. While the principles of lending against deposits are the same for all regulated banks etc, the clearly articulated linkage between my modest deposits and the lending capacity this creates, makes me feel fully invested in Boom CU.
