By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

By seeing what each journey is costing you, it encourages you to cut costs

Firstly it was £300 cheaper than the next cheapest quote (33% less!!!). Secondly I think it will actually be even cheaper as I realise now that I might not even drive the 6000 miles that I always quote on my insurance policies, based on the miles I’ve driven so far in month 1. This means I will pay even less as they only charge for miles I actually drive. Also by being able to see the cost of every journey I make in the car, it is actually encouraging me to walk on short journeys and sometimes cut out unnecessary journeys completely! 10/10 for this company, ticks every box for me! Iv been with By Miles for a couple months now after a unfortunate crash, by miles was fundamental to me getting an affordable insurance plan. The flexibility of By Miles is the key factor of this review, from saving money on the insurance for people who don’t drive often to giving people who do a great way to manage their travel and money. a great service all around, couldn’t be happier! Excellent Insurer Wish I found them sooner

Wish I found them sooner Buy miles insurance policy made insure my car so much easier and cheaper than other insurance as they remove the added expense You pay wild not driving the car with other traditional insurance.
