By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I was first attracted by the value (significantly more cost effective than alternatives) and the simple concept of pay by miles. Then I loved the app, easy to keep track of what's going on, in real time, instead of hunting around for paperwork once a year at renewal time. Then I needed help after my wife was in an accident and the service was impeccable and seamless. I didn't spend much time evaluating alternatives at renewal time, ByMiles is the best value, convenient and trustworthy. Reviewed on: 29th July 2020
