By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Brilliant value and excellent customer service

I have been with by Miles since March and everything was simple to set up. The insurance because of how little mileage I do was brilliant. It's literally half of what all other insurers were quoting me. And with the new system to change car in place, it makes transferring my insurance to my new car so easy and it's explained so simply! A fresh breeze blow through the car insurance business "BY MILES"!

I am a new customer to By Miles but what a good idea for those of us who have quite a low mileage. The service is first class and the little milage device very easy to fit. Small criticism here - on my car, the socket of this has a little door which will not close with the device fitted. But hey ho if that's the only problem it's not much to worry about. I would recommend this insurance to anyone. Reviewed on: 16th August 2019

No hassle love the app always no what my bill is each month and wow it halfed my insurance compared to the last insurance company I was with.
