By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Unique with no catches

Never heard of ‘by miles’ until it popped up in a comparison website. Very dubious n read the small print, ‘n then read it again (n probably again!). There are NO catches, nor do they monitor your driving style… just mileage. My mileage varies dramatically at time n other times it’s minuscule. Drive less, pay less

It is entirely obvious that the less you drive the less risk there is of a claim and therefore the cost of insurance should be less. I really like this approach because i want to be the person who reduces her carbon footprint by driving less but I need a financial incentive. this insurance policy provides this. The app is the first instrument I have come across that enables me to see exactly when and how much I'm using my car. The device was really easy to set up and the app is simple and clear.
