By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

This is car insurance at a fair price. It's especially good for myself as since retired i no longer drive long distances and more than pleased to pay by the mileage. By Miles has inimitable customer service with a charm of friendliness to be admired, and that lovely human touch. They also are extremely helpful in making sure you understand how they operate and especially to know how to insert the tracker that shows the mileage used. All in my experience with By Miles has been extremely positive indeed. I recommend them to anyone and certainly will do. Reviewed on: 1st August 2019

I initially set up a policy for my step son, and was so impressed by the concept i joined myself, i incured nearly £40 of admin fees from my last insurers and after paying that, By Miles still beat quote by almost £70. £110 if you include admin fees from previous insurer. Honestly shocked, and bills no more than £10 a month! Whats not to like?? 10/10 Reviewed on: 1st August 2019

By miles is a brilliant new way to insure yourself for those of us looking to keep costs to a minimum and who don't really use a car that much. Plus it is also a great way to keep track of what your doing in your vehicle and makes you think about the way you drive. Overall a great product. Reviewed on: 1st August 2019
