By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

By lies makes complete sense for low mileage drivers. Paying by the mile is much cheaper than paying for an annual charge made by other insurance companies where little is paid to the number of miles a person my drive. I have had no reason to contact customer services so do not have a view on this. Reviewed on: 18th August 2022
