Cheap, easy to use and transparent

I found By Miles after trawling multiple providers for my C63 finding all of the premiums had gone up this year I really had to shop around as my previous provider had more than doubled and wasn't budging, unlike previous years. By Miles came up cheapest initial outlay and even with the miles I do in the car over the year I know it will come in cheaper based on their estimate and my first month of usage. The app tells you how much every trip has cost you and there is no snooping into your driving style or recording of black box information. Reviewed on: 18th August 2022

Pay for what you use

I like By Miles because I am paying only for whatteh miles I actually drivee, not some arbitrary annual mileage. Thus saved me a lot of money especially during the Covid-19 lockdown. Reviewed on: 18th August 2022

Affordable car insurance for a single parent

This insurance works for me. It's cheap as I work from home mostly and only use the car for school picks/drops and extra curriculum activities. I like it even more because I can check via the By Miles tracker app how much I have travelled and how much it has cost me. Value for money

I have been with By Miles for only a month so far but, my experience has been great. The notifications after each journey is a great idea, you can see where you are and how much of your mileage you are using. Very easy to fit the device in the car too. They Helped When Tracker Failed

Recently the tacking on the App failed. I contacted By Miles and they helped identify the problem over the phone and test if the Tracker was working. The Tracker had failed so they arranged to send me a new Tracker and a return envelope so the old Tracker could be tested. The people I spoke to were very understanding and efficient. I find the By Miles Insurance very competitive as I do very few miles by enjoy being able to use the car when I want to. Reviewed on: 18th August 2022

By Miles

With By Miles I only pay for the miles I drive. The price is good and I get a reduction in premium every year. I haven't needed to make a claim yet but the customer service has been excellent. My car battery died and they gave me 2 weeks to get it replaced so my insurance wasn't cancelled. The By Miles app is also excellent. It tracks your journeys and the cost. It has a 'Find My Car' feature as well as a fault scanner feature. All in all I'm very happy with By Miles and will continue renewing with them into the future. Reviewed on: 18th August 2022

Great idea to charge by the mile

I do relatively low mileage, approx 3k miles per year. Switching to By Miles has saved me about £200 compared to last years premium with a different insurer. The mileage tracker arrived by post and is easy to install. I would definitely recommend By Miles to friends and family. Reviewed on: 18th August 2022

Highly recommended

I have been a customer for a couple of years now and I have been so impressed with how much money I have saved, compared to other car insurance companies. I love the fact you can download the app and track your miles and see how much each journey costs. It has all the other benefits that other car insurance companies offer but you are saving so much money doing it this way.
