By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Love the system, works perfectly for my lifestyle & has saved me £100s incomparison to previous insurance companies I've used. Easy to use, friendly customer service. You only pay for the miles you drive

All the benefits of a full yearly premium insurance with the added bonus of an onboard vehicle tracker at no extra cost. The dashboard feature has the benefit of letting you know if you have any fault codes to be aware of as well. Reviewed on: 11th August 2022

Unique, revolutionary offering in the insurance world

In the past, I've been frustrated by the fact I rarely use my car yet when submitting my estimated mileage for insurance, I always over-estimate to safeguard against any issues down the road. However, this inevitably means I pay for mileage I never actually use - leaving me out of pocket. However, with By Miles you literally get what you pay for, with monthly, competitively-priced bills based on your exact mileage. It really is a revolution, and the customer service, communications, and in-app journey updates are fantastic. An all-round excellent experience that I've already recommended to friends and family. Great cheap insurance if you don't drive long distance

I only drive a mile a day so this was ideal for me to keep the cost of my insurance down and comes with a great app. Customer service is good, sometimes hard to get hold of someone but they eventually get back to you.
