By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Excellent idea for most drivers!

I found this company whilst working at a job which gave me a van for travel and so my own car was rarely used. By paying for what I actually drove my insurance was often less than £10 per month! Even now I have changed jobs and drive 40 minutes to and from work 5 days a week and it’s only cost me £27!! Unbeatable! Reviewed on: 11th August 2022

Great policy but I havent needed to make a claim

This has been a lot cheaper for me, because I don’t use my car as much as I used to before the pandemic. I haven’t needed to make a claim so I can’t comment on that side of things but I would recommend it if you want to pay less and don’t drive much. Reviewed on: 11th August 2022

My policy

I set the number of miles I use per year. For an initial payment. I have breakdown cover and am only charged for the miles I use, so much more cost effective. My highest monthly charge ha been around £8 per month and my policy is fully comprehensive. Reviewed on: 11th August 2022
