By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Just brilliant insurance

Having bought a cycle which I now use most days instead of the car. I can now keep my insurance costs to a manageable price given the recent price rises for most things. I can control the amount spent and not have to worry about finding a large sum every year. By miles is a great way to save money if you Don't drive very much. The dongle in my car is useful too allowing me to keep an eye on its location and its condition with the scanning function. I have mentioned this insurance to lots of friends and family and if I was in a 2 car family situation I would definitely get one car on this insurance especially if one of them doesn't get use much. It was so easy to contact the company online and the app works great giving you upto date information about distance travelled. Very good for tracking work mileage claims when I do take it and use it for business. More insurance companies should really offer good deals such as this for low usage drivers. As someone whose mileage decreased significantly, it was great to find a company that catered to my reduction in driving. Not only does the tracker record my journeys accurately, it gives me peace of mind that I always know where my car is. The app is well designed and simple to navigate and I love that I can access help and advice from friendly assistants, without having to hunt for telephone numbers or being taken around the houses. The ability to estimate the cost of a journey and a running total makes it possible to keep track of mileage and cost. A sensible insurance plan for low mileage drivers

I have insured my car for over 2 years now and have saved hundreds of pounds. My mileage is low but having a car is a necessity. On a pension I am grateful to be keeping my car on the road. Sensible way to insure your car.

This is no good for regular high mileage use, but is ideal for low mileage or occasional long distance, it is however capped on a daily basis so long distance will not cost a fortune. IT SAVED ME A LOT DURING THE LOCKDOWNS. I will give a 5 star rating. Reviewed on: 9th August 2022
