By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Best car insurance going

I find this car insurance with By Miles the best going as being a pensioner I don't drive a lot of milage, so I only pay for the miles I do drive. The customer service is great and when I did have a problem with Gps it was sorted out straightaway. I have recommended them to a few friends. Reviewed on: 9th August 2022

The friendly and supportive insurance company

I’ve done last two years with by Miles. Easy to contact and speak to on chat. Very friendly and supportive. I’ve never needed anything major. But always helpful with the small stuff too. I’m a community nurse. And now based at my home address. I claim my diesel allowance back. The tracker from by miles gives very accurate readings of my journeys.
