By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Brilliant ByMiles!

I've had my car insurance with ByMiles for 3 years & highly recommend them. Paying a flat annual fee, then only for the miles you actually drive is a brilliant way to save on your car insurance. I have found their customer service helpful & easy to contact. Reviewed on: 9th August 2022

I can recall the first year I discovered By Miles car insurance. At first I could believe how low the costs were for that year and how great their customer service were. As an older driver, my mileage has decreased and therefore by using By Miles I only pay for the miles I drive. The customer service is excellent and I am kept informed of any changes and given useful advice as the seasons change. I am informed of things to be aware of concerning the safety of my car.
