By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Driving a company car, my own vehicle still needs to be insured but as it stays on my drive most of the time it's not cost effective to pay a high premium. so "by miles" was my first choice and it even reports battery voltage so no surprises of a flat battery. Reviewed on: 6th October 2022

I just love ByMiles ... they have saved me so much money ... I only pay insurance for the miles I actually drive ... which are very few in my case ... so I have saved loads ... YAY. Best thing is life is nearly free

After getting what i consider an expensive quote from my usual broker. I took the plunge with By Miles. This down payment looked good. The terms and conditions looked good and simple to follow. Got the app downloaded and that was clear and simple. The dongle turned up and I plugged it in. It tracks, its car medic tells me I have issues. It’s informative and the back up of having a link to chat to them in case you have any problem. I mean what is there not to like. Oh and I nearly forgot the big plus point. I’m on track to be around £200 better off on my previous insurer. Which is around 52% less than their quote. I mean what isn’t there to like in the days of all these financial issues. Also I think this is the way to go in insurance and I believe now genuinely the old fashion way is finished. Well done for them having the guile to do this. Refreshing. Reviewed on: 6th October 2022
