Reduced rates for caravans not using public highways

At 85, having been a Caravan Club member for 49 years, the womenfolk in my family have decided that, as my back is held together with titanium rods and rivets, I'm too old to tow. My 'van is now stored in a barn on a 5C site. When I want to use it I 'phone the farmer who tows the 'van about 75 yards onto the site yet I have to pay the same insurance fee as if I was towing the 'van for thousands of miles on our increasingly crowded roads. The 'van NEVER goes on a public highway. After nearly 50 years membership I considerer my insurance premium should take this into considertion. The present system seems ludicrously unfair! Extremely helpful

Reliable, Renound and second to none in more ways than one

After 36 years of caravanning most of which has been with the caravan club, for their organisation, variety of venues and the lasting pleasures of witnessing the effort of time and work put in by the wardens, is a guarantee to return each year and simply enjoy the experience year on year. Trust the Brand

There are cheaper insurers, we have used them in the past. However, any insurance is ultimately only as good as how a claim is managed. Our experience is that the CAMC truly understand the issues caravaners face and they act accordingly. Fast, courteous, and Efficient!

Due to location of caravan storage, no other insurer would cover me. Tried Caravan Club insurance and was given excellent, straightforward quote. Before renewal, given options to keep same cover with suggestions on how to reduce cost! cannot recommend highly enough. Reviewed on: 27th July 2021
