A fabulous way to bank

I first heard about the credit union in a Community business social enterprise, one of the other directors was volunteering for credit union Liverpool and informed the other board members and support volunteers of what a credit union is how it started and how they work, I was so convinced that I opened an account with them and have never looked back, prior to lock down the sense of local community was amazing going in and seeing the level of support and information for the local community, they didn't seem like a bank but a support network with the ability to really know the community they worked with, even some by name, they were friendly and approachable and multicultural, people walking past waved through the window... Banks today on the High Street could never replicate that... Their advice was honest based on circumstances and they took the time to explain everything clearly, regardless of your financial situation, they truly are a bank for the community and the people, even through lock down I cannot fault their service via phone or online, you phone a high street bank and go through 50 questions, it's nice to phone a bank and speak to someone who really seems genuinely interested in taking the time to talk to you and help...
