The credit union help me to save when I wouldn’t usually be able to by putting a small amount away each month with my loan repayments. I don’t notice it and end up with a little bit saved at the end and it puts me in a better position financially. I opened a savings account with my local credit union as I wanted a safer, more community-focused way to manage my money, and it’s been a really positive experience so far. The process to join was straightforward, and everything was clearly explained without any confusing jargon. What I like most is how approachable and helpful the staff are compared to bigger banks—they actually take the time to answer questions and make you feel valued as a member. Saving regularly has been much easier since opening the account, and I like knowing my money is supporting local people as well as helping me build good financial habits. The account is simple to manage, and I feel confident that my savings are secure. I've used the credit union for a number of years, thankfully it's always acted like a safety net for me when I've needed access to monies. I've not had any issues with the staff either face to face or on the phones they are quite personable. Reviewed on: 13th April 2026

The credit union have saved my savings!

The credit union have saved my savings!!! Couldn’t be more thankful It was so hard to save in my normal bank as I’d just go into it all the time but now I don’t even notice it coming out when It goes into my account with the credit union, and the interest is amazing.
