One of the few banks actually providing an ok interest rate

Most banks have not increased their offer despite the astronomical interest rate rises. Chase for the first year at least offers quite a decent rate. Just hope it is still good when the introductory offer ends Reviewed on: 16th March 2023

First move into app banking and proving the best I ever made

At a time when interest rates were rock bottom and my savings in retirement were eroding, I heard about the Chase app bank who seemed to be the only bank with an easy access savings account offering any sort of intetest so I took the plunge and applied for my first ever app only bank account. The only glitch was that my old phone wouldn't run the app so bought a refurb as a long overdue replacement, to find the move to Chase was really easy even for an old technophobe. The cash card arrived with out fuss, and very promptly. Ive been easily moving money and using the card for daily spending for almost a year now without a hitch with interest appearing monthly accross my accounts. Any changes to the arrangements and interest rates have been improvements too. I still have my old current account as yet with one of the big 4 but will likely change that too this year now Chase have proven to be top rate.. Well done Chase for being the first to buck the banking trend of appaling interest rates since 2020 and continue to be ahead of the rest.. Reviewed on: 16th March 2023
