I have had a credit union account since I was a child. My mother encouraged me to save and it’s a habit I have continued as an adult. My savings are automatically transferred from my salary as an employee at Nottingham City Council. I used my savings as a deposit for my first house. Reviewed on: 19th March 2024

Brilliant banking

I first joined credit union as I needed a loan for vets bills. The return payments were taken straight out of my wages and I saved at the same time. I am still saving now. The convenience of the savings being taken from my wages is great. If I ever need to withdraw any money it is easy to request online and the funds returned to me at approximately 10:00.
