Collingwood provide insurance for learner drivers, taxi drivers and couriers.

New driver cover is only available to existing Collingwood learner driver customers after passing the practical driving test. Taxi insurance can be for annual or short-term cover and courier insurance cover is for food and parcel delivery drivers.

Rang up to enquire as have had no experience with learner insurance in the past. The lady who answered the phone was lovely and very helpful- she let us know that we could take out a policy over the phone despite my 17th birthday still being a week away and was very informative and helpful. As a (current) learner driver, I always imagined insurance would be too expensive. But When I saw the quote that Collingwood offered for full cover of my vehicle, I was shocked at how low the price was. 10/10 car insurance company. Reviewed on: 21st September 2023

Having a years insurance was useful and cheaper than other providers. It also allowed me to build up a year's no claim discount. Just be aware od the £40 cancellation fee. Reviewed on: 21st September 2023
