Collingwood provide insurance for learner drivers, taxi drivers and couriers.

New driver cover is only available to existing Collingwood learner driver customers after passing the practical driving test. Taxi insurance can be for annual or short-term cover and courier insurance cover is for food and parcel delivery drivers.

Could not fault

On both occasions when contacting Collingwood Insurance via phone call, one to take out insurance policy and one also to cancel policy after passing my driving test, I got straight through to the customer service staff with no delays which was amazing. Both staff members I spoke to on both different occasions were so helpful, kind and patient with me when helping to answer any questions I had, and all information was gone through thoroughly to ensure I was 100% happy with my service before leaving the call. The service I received left me feeling very content with the choice I made to go with their insurance company, which helped a lot when knowing I would be spending my hard earned money with them specifically. Good idea & easy to set up

Good idea & easy to set up-allowed our son to use our family vehicle whilst learning to drive (our existing insurer wouldn't add him to our policy). Also smooth to get refund when he passed his test. Reviewed on: 12th August 2020

Hassle Free Learner Insurance

My daughter had Learner Car Insurance for 10 Months with Collingwood. On passing her driving test, we rang Collingwood, told them she had passed and that we wanted to cancel the policy (at which point they advised us we would receive a pro rata refund of the premium AND that because she had the policy for 10 months without a claim she would qualify for the accelerated No Claims Discount of 1 YR. The NCD was applied to her policy and saved us £150. Absolutely brilliant and would highly recommend Collingwood. Reviewed on: 12th August 2020

Ten out of ten for an excellent service

This has been my second time of using Collingwood Insurance and on both accounts I can genuinely say that their service has been outstanding! They provide excellent service and a very fair price and at every point have been easy to contact - and more importantly you get to speak to someone without any long delays listening to music (unlike other companies!). Excellent Customer Service

As well as being extremely good value for money for a learner driver we then got a rebate on the unused part of the insurance once he’d passed his test. Easy to speak to someone for advice and clarification even in these uncertain times. Reviewed on: 12th August 2020
